 1. Regularly check the oil level; if it does not meet the requirements, it must be adjusted to comply. When the vacuum pump is running, the oil level should be at the center of the oil mark.

  2. Regularly check the oil quality; if the oil is deteriorated, it should be replaced promptly to ensure the vacuum pump operates normally.

  3. The oil change period should be determined based on actual usage conditions and whether performance requirements can be met, at the user's discretion. Generally, for a new vacuum pump, when extracting clean and dry gases, it is recommended to change the oil after about 100 hours of operation.VacuumPump Oilonce. After no black metal powder is visible in the oil, the oil change period can be appropriately extended.

  4. Generally, after 2000 hours of operation, the vacuum pump should be overhauled, checking the aging of rubber seals, inspecting the exhaust valve plates for cracks, and cleaning the debris settled on the valve plates and exhaust valve seats. Clean all parts inside the vacuum pump chamber, such as the rotor, vanes, springs, etc. Generally, gasoline is used for cleaning, followed by drying. For rubber parts, simply wipe dry with a clean cloth after washing. Handle parts carefully during assembly to avoid damage.

  5. If conditions permit, clean the pipes to ensure unobstructed flow.

  6. After reassembly, a trial run should be conducted, generally requiring 2 hours of idle operation and two oil changes, as a certain amount of volatile substances may remain in the vacuum pump after cleaning. Once normal operation is achieved, it can be put into regular use.

  7. Check for any looseness in the vacuum pump piping and joints. Manually rotate the vacuum pump to see if it operates smoothly.

  8. Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing housing, ensuring the oil level is at the center line of the oil mark; lubricating oil should be replaced or supplemented in a timely manner.

  9. Unscrew the water inlet plug on the vacuum pump body and fill it with water (or slurry).

  10. Properly close the outlet pipeline'svalveand the outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge.

  11. Momentarily activate the motor to check if the motor direction is correct.

  12. Start the motor; when the vacuum pump is operating normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum pump, and after appropriate pressure is displayed, gradually open the valve while checking the motor load.

  13. Try to control the flow rate of the circulating waterof the vacuum pumpand the lift within the range specified on the nameplate to ensure the vacuum pump operates at the highest efficiency point, achieving maximum energy-saving effects.

  14. During operation, the bearing temperature of the vacuum pump should not exceed 35°C above the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80°C.

  15. If any abnormal sounds are detected from the vacuum pump, stop immediately to check the cause.

  16. When the vacuum pump needs to be stopped, first close the valve and pressure gauge, then stop the motor.

  17. In the first month of operation, change the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and thereafter change the oil every 500 hours.

  18. Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure that the leakage in the packing chamber is normal (dripping is preferable).

  19. Periodically check the wear of the shaft sleeve; if wear is significant, it should be replaced promptly.

  20. When using the vacuum pump in cold winter, after stopping, the water drain plug at the bottom of the pump body should be unscrewed to drain the medium to prevent freezing and cracking.

  21. If the vacuum pump is to be unused for a long time, it should be completely disassembled, dried of moisture, lubricated at rotating parts and joints, reassembled, and stored properly.
